  2025 Upper Peninsula Teaching and Learning Conference (UP-TLC)

May 8-9, 2025




REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Click the "Reserve Tickets" button
Reserve your conference tickets by clicking the "Reserve Tickets" button located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Note: The ticket price displayed on Sched is $0 because MTU is not using Sched's payment processing. Payment can be made via university invoice (using your university's billing code) or by credit card through the Michigan Tech TouchNet system (Pre-conference, $45, Main Conference $95).

2.  Select Tickets 
You will be redirected to the Sched cart to select your desired tickets.

* New Users: If you do not have a Sched account, click the "Sign Up" button at the bottom of the cart to create one.
* Returning Users: If you previously registered for Sched (e.g., for last year's UP-TLC conference), click the "Log In" option. Items cannot be added to the cart until you are logged in.

Add all applicable tickets to your cart and click "Next."  

Ticket Choices: 

Preconference ($45): Includes sessions on May 8th, parking pass (if needed), snacks, and admission to the evening activity at the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum (MTU).
Pre-conference evening activity (included): "A Night at the Museum" (the MTU A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum). Please add this to your cart to provide an estimated headcount. Includes hors d'oeuvres, a basic tour, and networking.
Main Conference ($95): Includes admission to conference sessions on May 9th, breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

**DO NOT ENTER YOUR UNIVERSITY BILLING CODE IN THE "PROMO BOX" IN THE CART.  THIS IS ENTERED IN THE NEXT STEP ON THE REGISTRATION SCREEN.**

3. Complete Registration Form
You will be directed to the registration screen. Complete all required fields (marked with *).
A.     First Name*
B. Last Name*
C.     Email Address* 
D.     Affiliated University/School Name*. This information will appear on your name badge. Enter "N/A" if applicable.
E.     Position Title 
F.     University Billing Code: Enter your university's billing code for invoice payment. Incorrect or missing codes will result in payment instructions via the Touchnet system.
G.     Dietary Accommodations: List any dietary needs for catering.
H.     Parking Pass (Thursday, May 8th) * (indicate yes or no).
I.      Parking Pass (Friday, May 9th) * (indicate yes or no).

After completing all fields and adding tickets, click "Register."

4.  Receive Confirmation Statement

You will be directed to a "Registration Successful" page.

If you did not utilize a University Billing Code, please follow the link on the confirmation page to finish purchasing your tickets in the TouchNet system.
